2006.May.29 Trim all heels and keep walls out of ground contact on front. Flat feet and long protecting bars still posing a challenge. Wetter weather is again showing white line problems. Now seeing new growth on outer wall, clearly looks different since on the balancing minerals program. She is getting lots of movement now, trotting and cantering around (for short periods) without problems. Finally took pictures again.

Show archived thumbnails 2006.Jan.10 Trim and rebalance hind. Wearing outer walls faster than inner walls. 2006.Jan.03 Trim front heels, hind frogs. Bars were touching ground in most cases. Trimmed bars just enough to be passive. 2005.Nov.12 Rolled all edges. Soles bearing weight now on front. 2005.Nov.06 Trimmed Hind: Mostly rolled the edges more. 2005.Nov.03 2005.Oct.18 Hind bars getting too long. Trimmed Hind frogs and bars. Trimmed Front heels and bars. 2005.Oct.11 Trimmed Hind frogs and flares, but otherwise looking ok. Unwilling to touch bars yet as she is finally 95% sound. 2005.Sep.15 Finally feeling better, bars are growing out. Have lowered heels a little, increased the rocking of toes, and trimmed frog sides. Happy to see no white line separation in the toes. Only the sides yet to grow out. 2005.Aug.17 This last trim was not good for Glamour. She was very ouchy, so I may now conclude I should not remove her bars this much. 2005.Aug.15 untrimmed status 2005.Jun.18-19 2005.Jun.15 2005.Jun.14 2005.Jun.13 2005.Apr.04 2005.Mar.25 2005.Mar.17 2005.Feb.10 2005.Feb.08 2004.Apr.18

Alfalfa, like all legumes, naturally contains thyroid compromising elements, that could have been accommodated better in decades gone by than today. The thyroid takes the biggest hit from environmental chemicals than any other tissue or organ in the body. Nearly a century ago, legumes were named "goitrogens". |
